Throughout the years, Barco has built very strong expertise related to medical display systems, image processing and visualization.

Role in the project

In WP2 (Task 2.2) and in WP3 (task T3.2) Barco will investigate the benefits of a 3D autostereoscopic display in the preoperative planning stage and in the interaction with the patents  in neurovascular and oncological domains respectively; by involving  20% of the participants to the clinical studies, the project will assess the usability of the display from the physician and the patient perspective in comparison with 2D display solutions and the effectiveness in the interaction with the patients. In WP4 Barco will contribute to all tasks to develop methodological framework for the evaluation of assistive technologies in the HC domain.
