Role in the project

Medtronic, as a key industrial partner, will be implementing a use case with Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau (Barcelona) with the aim to enhance the follow-up of patients with cerebral aneurysms. We will deploy an innovative solution that collects vital data for shared decision-making, improves follow-up and patient experience, and empowers individuals through real-time monitoring. It will also include a comprehensive dashboard that provides clinical insights, optimizes patient flow and evidence-based care. Medtronic will also bring its expertise in contributing to the exploitation strategies and defining the project framework.

Team

Ingrid Salevsky Nuñez

Ingrid Salevsky Nuñez is a professional with a solid clinical background, trained as a University Technician in Cardiology Practices at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), Argentina. She complemented her profile with a specialization in processes, acquiring training in Lean Six Sigma and an Executive Master in Operations and Innovation from ESADE. Throughout her career, she has accumulated extensive experience in the hospital sector, working in prestigious centers both in Argentina, Spain and Portugal, in various areas of clinical and operational management, with the aim of optimizing processes and promoting operational excellence. She has led continuous improvement projects in institutions such as Bellvitge University Hospital, Vall d’Hebron Hospital and Clinic Hospital, among others. Currently, at Medtronic, she works as Project Manager operating multidisciplinary teams, implementing technological solutions and innovative methodologies, focusing on improving patient care. In SHERPA, she will be the industrial lead of the clinical use case with Hospital Sant Pau.

Clàudia Navarro

Clàudia Navarro is an accomplished Innovation Project Manager at Medtronic, within the Integrated Health Solutions department. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Barcelona, a Master’s degree in Bioengineering, and an MBA from University Ramon Llull. Clàudia has experience in supporting innovative teams in the healthcare sector thanks to her previous work with public European organizations, in EIT Health. She excels in promoting public-private collaborative innovation projects in Medtech, Digital Health, and Biotech, and in managing multidisciplinary teams. In SHERPA, Clàudia will support transversal project management tasks and the implementation of the clinical use case.

Jorge Posada

Jorge Posada is the Innovation Portfolio Manager at Medtronic’s Integrated Health Solutions (IHS) INNOVA department in Iberia. He holds a degree in Administration and Business Management from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Management Skills from Universidad Francisco de Vitoria. In his role, Jorge specializes in business development and open innovation, acting as a key link between public-private collaborations and public funding opportunities, and the Integrated Health Solutions’ and Medtronic’s Business Unit’s strategy.
