SHERPA at ESMINT 2025
The SHERPA project was proud to take part in the ESMINT Congress 2025 in Marseille, with a dedicated session showcasing how advanced technologies can support and improve interventional neuroradiology. Speakers from UMC Utrecht, Philips, Universitätsklinikum Hamburg Eppendorf, Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau, Sim&Cure, and other partners shared the latest insights from SHERPA’s work.
The session featured presentations on:
- SHERPA as an EU-funded public–private collaboration driving innovation in assistive technologies for interventional radiology
- New strategies for predicting aneurysm rupture and growth
- Autocollimation and automated working projections for aneurysm treatment
- True-to-life neurointerventional simulation, with insights from the Hamburg Experimental Neuroangiography Lab
- A digital solution for patient follow-up
- Advances in automated aneurysm detection and device sizing
These discussions highlighted SHERPA’s multidisciplinary approach and its potential to translate research and technological development into real clinical impact.
We thank all participants and look forward to continuing the conversation at future events!
